Permeate

Permeation and Paradox. A paradox is a self-contradictory statement or argument. Paradox arises within conflicting thoughts and relating the opposing thoughts to deeper truths. A paradox defies logic and runs counter to one’s expectations. A biblical paradox has been labeled “a lighter burden”. Matthew 11:28–30; a verse about labor and being overburdened; take on My yoke, learning from Me; connect with meekness and lowly hearts for rest. Learning from a teacher, an aware teacher!

1. Why connect in meekness and with lowly hearts for rest? What are we to heed from these words to carry a lighter burden? Who wouldn’t want a lighter burden? Perhaps you have taken on so much you cannot see a way out of your dilemma! Debt, broken relationships, work expectations, illness, parental and household responsibilities! Maybe you are avoiding a lighter burden. Why would you avoid that one? Perhaps your deeper belief is that only those with great works achieve heavenly recognition, so the verse does not apply to you? Carrying all the earthly burdens earns your way to heavenly pastures? Either way, why not explore our options for a “lighter burden”?

Human beings, solid in skeletal structure, are permeated by wisps of thoughts and emotions. Some thoughts and emotions within contribute to the burdensome yokes we carry, causing discord. What is discord? Friction, lack of agreement, lack of harmony. Friction between earthly expectations and demands. This includes oppositions, opposing immigration, or war, or religion that is different than yours. Burdens of discord can arise daily! The yoke, the labor to carry so many burdens. Burdens of thought, burdens of feelings in response to woes or life events or worry. What are we to do to? Take on another “yoke”? Learn more to lighten the burden? We cannot just pass the burden off ? We have to learn something?

2. We are asked to connect with meekness and lowly hearts. Meekness; a quality of being patient, having a nature of quietness. Some call this a nature of submissiveness. What do we submit to? Submit to a higher power, trust the higher power within. Pause, be quiet, be still. Answers arrive. Be gentle. Respond in gentleness, our greatest teacher responded with a gentle nature, in patience. In moments of quiet, when the mind is settled, beyond thoughts and emotions, lies awareness. Allow awareness to free you from the yokes of earthy burdens.

What can permeate “us” for success, when awareness arises from a gentle nature, when patience and an allowance for the moments of quiet curiosity allows wisps of insight? Oh, the possibilities! We have differences. These differences can cause negative emotions, anxious thoughts. Master teachers share ways to gain skill, to learn. Many masters have walked this earth. One master that I grew up with, Jesus, demonstrated transformation. He transformed pain, discomfort, hurt, anger, fear, guilt into life affirming conditions. Translations of words bring forth many meanings when you return to origins. Paul speaks of Christ, and some reference crucifixion as a translated term more near “lifting up”. Viewing Jesus as elevating Christ. Christ, an anointed one. https://www.abarim-publications.com/Meaning/Christ.html

Consider this! We are to learn, as an anointed one demonstrated. To be anointed, has a definition connection to mean divine election. Elect divineness in our thoughts, hearts and minds. To elect is to choose. To choose divinely. Philippians 2:5, in our relationships, have the mindset as Jesus, Christ. What Christ like mind sets are we asked to allow to permeate our being? To love God with heart, soul and mind and love our neighbor as ourself. Love is not abuse, or power, or like. Love allows non harmful difference. God/love is to permeate our heart, soul and mind. Through our soul, connect our mind and heart, with God’s love, elect love. What would love do? Permeate our earthly endeavors with love through this soulful connection! How do we do that? How do we transform a wrong into a right? We cannot transform an action once completed, we can transform, elect divineness in our choice of responses. Electing divineness does not eliminate accountability.

What changes the sinful mindsets of humans? Righteousness: to make right! Accountability and allowing the yoke of the burden to be carried through a Christ like consciousness.

We each allow our hearts and minds to be permeated through the value systems that resonate within. Our permeations are filtered. Between us we generate a multitude of ways to envision how the world “should” be, we filter different realities and truths of experience. Jesus modeled for me overcoming pain, sorrow, hurt, anger, guilt, hate, sadness — sins — by making right….through righteousness. He allowed the cruelty of the world to crucify him. Jesus showed us the way to salvation through resurrection. I no longer live the values of the resurrection through the permeation of the thought that I was born a sinner. I know a deeper meaning of my redeemer. I am redeemed by following the redemptive ways of Jesus, as I allow love to transform mistakes. The examples are there if you allow them to permeate within you anew.

3. I love the story of Scarlett Lewis for example. She has transformed the sadness and hurt within caused by a murderer, who shot her son while in class at Sandy Hook! She forgave the shooter. Although the shooter took his own life, the hurt, pain and sorrow of losing a young son and the insights she gained from the message her son left behind transformed her response. She found empathy into why the shooter took this route. She heeded the words her son left behind: Nurturing, Healing, Love. Her journey is remarkable! Electing divineness does not occur overnight, it is not an easy yoke free path! Yet, she carries the yoke of this tragedy to lighten the burdens of others. Read her book, share her free curriculum! To me, she demonstrates the Jesus I know! Walking among the needy, fulfilling their needs!

She has also forgiven the voice of Info Wars for his defamation of this horrific tragedy that occurred. She listened within, choosing to hold accountable ongoing defamation about Sandy Hook. Non wavering from her pursuit of righteousness-make right-the defamations spewed about this event, the denial of the loss of her own son. Life brings forth the good and the bad to us all. We overcome, we redeem, we save ourselves and others by following what Jesus modeled. It’s easy to condemn the monetary award of accountability, be jealous, to cave to the sadness of the cost of lies. It takes a lot to remove sinful thoughts, sinful feelings. The easy path is to call another evil, for some actions are evil, yet when permeated, can be redeemed, made right through righteous practices. Make thoughts and actions “right”. And we disagree on what is “right” to this day!

May we permeate within that which we oppose to lead us to a deeper understanding of what is. May we all follow the examples of those like Scarlet Lewis, to make right.

The theme of my writings embed mystical Christ: Love, Acceptance, Forgiveness. The Power of Words to heal hearts and minds! “The lost tradition of the Word is the riddle of paradox. Once learned, there must be joy in its sharing. It is something that you keep, even while you give it away. You must never hoard it and never give it directly, or its virtue will be lost. You must use it to stay upon the higher path and yet use it also to know when to step off. You can work with it to have a way of your own and to have it entirely. You can take the old and express it anew.” Ted Andrews.

Gifts from the opposites (there is no light without darkness) = Love. Jesus taught us love.

Gifts from paradox (2 differing truths embrace truth) = Acceptance. Jesus taught us acceptance.

Gifts from pausing (process the emotions and thoughts, reconnect to higher divine beingness, go and sin no more, let go) = Forgiveness. Jesus taught us forgiveness.

If you are struggling with unworthiness, the need to forgive and replace hatred with love reach out to trusted sources. Become free of what weighs on you.
